독일 베를린 기반 트레이드리퍼블릭(Trade Republic)은 주식, ETF는 물론 가상 화폐와 기타 자산 거래를 서비스를 제공한다. 거래 수수료가 없는 유럽의 로빈후드로 일컬어지는 회사는 최근 세쿼이아캐피털 리드로 9억 달러를 유치하고 53억 달러 가치를 인정받았다.
트레이드리퍼블릭의 특징은 사용자 70%가 단기 이익을 추구하는 대신 장기적인 저축 개념으로 서비스를 이용하고 있어 고객 충성도가 높다는 것이다. 트레이드리퍼브릭은 주식 거래에 중점을 둔 서비스지만 최근 비트코인, 이더리움, 라이트코인, 비트코인캐시 등 가상 화폐 거래 서비스도 제공하기 시작했다. 독일, 프랑스, 오스트리아에서만 제공되는 서비스는 투자금을 활용해 4개월 내 유로존 전체로 서비스를 확장할 계획이다.
