xAI가 5월 15일 코딩 에이전트 CLI(Command Line Interface) 툴인 그록 빌드(Grok Build) 초기 베타 버전을 출시했다.
그록 빌드는 코덱스 CLI(Codex CLI)나 클로드 코드(Claude Code)와 유사한 기능을 갖춘 CLI 툴. 사용자는 터미널 에뮬레이터에서 그록 빌드를 실행해 AI에 코딩 작업을 지시할 수 있다. 코딩 작업을 중단하고 지시 내용을 검토할 수 있는 플랜(Plan) 모드도 탑재됐다. 터미널 내에서 그록에 질문하는 것도 가능하다. 스킬스(Skills)와 MCP 서버를 통한 기능 확장도 지원한다.
그록 빌드는 초기 베타 버전 단계로 월 300달러 유료 플랜인 슈퍼그록 헤비(SuperGrok Heavy) 구독자를 대상으로 공개됐다. 관련 내용은 이곳에서 확인할 수 있다.
