샤오미, AI 데스크톱 에이전트 베타 테스트 시작

중국 대형 기술기업 샤오미(Xiaomi)가 AI 데스크톱 에이전트 샤오미 미모 데스크톱(Xiaomi MiMo Desktop) 베타 테스트를 시작했다.

샤오미는 스마트폰 같은 하드웨어 제품 회사라는 인상이 강하지만 AI 연구에도 힘을 쏟고 있다. 미모-V2.5-프로(MiMo-V2.5-Pro) 같은 고성능 모델을 공개했고 클로드 코드(Claude Code)와 비슷한 기능을 갖춘 코딩 에이전트 앱 미모 코드(MiMo Code)도 개발했다.

새로 나온 샤오미 미모 데스크톱은 문서 작성 같은 사무 작업과 게임 개발 같은 창작 작업을 다루는 앱이다. 이 앱으로 만든 콘텐츠는 앱 안에서 그대로 실행할 수 있다. 상호작용이 되는 3D 장면을 만들고 동작을 확인하는 흐름을 샤오미 미모 데스크톱만으로 끝낼 수 있다. 슈팅 게임 같은 것도 개발할 수 있다.

눈에 띄는 기능은 결과물 일부를 범위로 골라 추가 지시를 내릴 수 있다는 점이다. 작곡을 지시해 악보와 MIDI 음원을 만들고 음악을 재생하는 것도 가능하다. 브라우저와 각종 앱 자동 조작도 지원한다.
